Facilities

The British School, Tehran shares its wooded campus with the German School. Playgrounds and sports facilities are shared by the two schools.

The British School itself is located in a building opened by Her Late Majesty The Queen Mother prior to the Iranian Revolution. When re-opened in 2000 the building was completely renovated and equipped.

Today the school has:

  • Six fully equipped teaching areas including nursery and reception.
  • A computer laboratory with internet access.
  • Computers in 4 classrooms.
  • A well stocked and growing library.
  • Fully equipped school kitchen.

Members of the Boards of the British and German Schools make up a joint site committee that is overseeing the continued development of the campus.
